The National Roman Museum has as its mission the acquisition, conservation enhancement and use of a unique cultural heritage in the world.

This exceptional testimony of the past is promoted and developed by the National Roman Museum, projecting the sense of historical continuity into the future.

In this tour we will visit 3 major sites of the Roman history: the bath of Diocletian, Palazzo Massimo and Palazzo Altemps.

The bath of Diocletian and the Charterhouse of Santa Maria degli Angeli are a unique monumental complex because of their size and exceptional state of preservation.

Inspired by the magnificent palaces of the 16th century, Palazzo Massimo contains some of the greatest masterpieces of the entire artistic output of the Roman world: sculptures, reliefs, frescos, mosaics, stuccoes and sarcophagi, originating.

The Palazzo Altemps is home to absolute masterpieces of ancient sculpture from famous and highly prestigious noble collections now owned by the Italian Government.
